quest sharing needs some work
Hello all,
I just got past The Searing the other day, and one of the little side quests right off the bat was to go get a census scroll that was left in Old Ascalon. I teamed up with another guy who had the same quest, & off we went. When we fought our way to the spot, I opened the chest and out popped the scroll. Okay, I got mine, now his turn to open the chest, get his scroll, & we'll both be ready to head back, right? No - he cant open the chest - it says "already been opened". Are you kidding? In a group, whoever gets to the quest item first completes the quest, and the others have to do it again? That's absurd. People in groups will be stabbing each other in the back (so to speak) when nearing a quest item. This cant be the way co-op quests work in this game. Can someone please explain this to me? |

this isnt so. If u both have the quest, u should be able to complete it. With Altheas Ashes my partner picked up the ash, we teleported back and i delivered the ash she picked up

well I surely hope it isnt true of all quests - but it definitely happened to us on the census scroll quest. I thought the same thing - just turn it in & we'll both get credit anyway. I turned it in, & his quest log still said "get the scroll" - we were in a party the whole time.
